AsBAA Malaysia chapter update

AsBAA Malaysia recently conducted a courtesy visit to meet and greet the new CEO of the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM), Captain Norazman Bin Mahmud. Led by chapter head Aida Ismail, the successful meeting included introducing AsBAA, business aviation, and its initiatives and discussed avenues of cooperation with mutual synergies in the future with CAAM for the Association's members. In planning is also several illegal charter awareness training sessions for CAAM hosted by AsBAA.

AsBAA Malaysia also recently held a meeting with Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) this month. Spearheaded by chapter head Aida Ismail, the meeting with MIDA discussed organizing a roundtable session with stakeholders including MOT, CAAM, operators, and others. In June, AsBAA Malaysia and MIDA together plan to organize a business awareness campaign for the region. Stay tuned for more updates.
